Krishnaangi - The Unexplored Shades of Draupadi

A Dance Production in Kathak Style of storytelling, partially inspired by the Book Palace of Illusions written by Ms. Chitra Banerjee, Krishnaangi will bring on stage 4 shades of Draupadi lesser known to the common man.

It's high time we started looking what the mythology is actually is trying to say rather than mould it to suit our convenience and blame the society & traditions for patriarchy. The choreographers of this Dance Production- Priyanka & Neelakshi strongly believe that Draupadi is not to be glorified for the suffering she endured but for her valour, her wisdom, her wit and her understanding of self worth. This production will take you across 4 such shades of this mystical character and her relationship with the charismatic Krishna.
