The group presentation by the performing Unit of the “Articulate Dance Studios” unfolds the story of KATHAK in all its Historical and Political perspective. While unfolding the canvas of Kathak’s Evolution, it traces its path from the art of Storytelling traditions to the times it was performed in the Durbars of the Sultanate after meandering through its display of devotion in the temples, its vibrancy in the Courts of the Hindu Kings. The Sutradar takes one through his narrative on a visually exuberant journey of the North Indian classical Dance form with a touch of regional flavors.
