2nd performance :
Presented in a margam, this performance pays tribute to Lord Vishnu in his many divine forms. The centerpiece of the margam is a majestic Anandabhairavi varnam by the Tanjore Quartette, dedicated to Rajagopalaswamy of Mannargudi, the cowherd king and divine protector. The journey continues with a heartfelt rendition of Tulsidas’s Sri Ramachandra, capturing the noble essence of Lord Rama, and culminates in a joyous thillana in Surutti, celebrating the Krishna’s triumphant Kalinga Nartana.
